Air Monitoring becomes a systematic approach for sensitivity and finding out the cir-cumstances of the atmosphere. The major concern of air quality monitoring is to meas-ure the concentration of pollution and other important parameter related to the con-tamination and provides information in real-time to make decisions at right time to cure lives and save the environment. This paper proposes an Architectural Framework for the air quality monitoring system based on Internet-of-Things (IoT) and via Fog computing techniques with novel methods to obtain real-time and accurate measurements of con-ventional air quality monitoring. IoT-based real-time air pollution monitoring system is projected to at any location and stores the measured value of various pollutants over a web server with the Internet. It can facilitate the process and filter data near the end of the IoT nodes in a concurrent manner and improving the Latency issue with the quality of services

In recent years Petri Nets has been in demand due to its visual depiction. Petri Nets are used as an effective method for portraying synchronization, a concurrency between different system activities. In queuing models Petri networks are used to represent distributed modeling of the system and thus evaluate their performance. By specifying suitable stochastic Petri Nets models, the authors concentrate on representing multi-class queuing systems of various queuing disciplines. The key idea is to define SPN models that simulate a given queue discipline 's behavior with some acceptable random choice. Authors have find system queuing with both a single server and multiple servers with load-dependent service rate. Petri networks in the queuing model have enhanced scalability by combining queuing and modeling power expressiveness of 'petri networks.' Examples of application of SPN models to performance evaluation of multiprocessor systems demonstrate the utility and effectiveness of this modeling method. In this paper, authors have made use of Stochastic Petri nets in queuing models to evaluate the performance of the system

Facebook an Anti-Stereotyping Tool: A Case Study

Facebook, the most popular social media (SM) platform has penetrated every nook and corner of the world. SM is now treated as the ‘fifth Estate’, other than legislative, executive, judiciary, and mainstream media. The power of SM as a critique is widely acknowledged. Establishments are finding it difficult to deal with it at times. Due to its ease of usage and relative anonymity, the general public finds it very convenient to put across their viewpoints, even if it’s against the establishment. Some establishments at times are at loggerheads with champions of freedom of speech including civil rights activists. SM has been used for propaganda, marketing, and awareness campaigns. In this paper, we are proposing to use this powerful tool towards social change. Through a case study, a detailed process is being proposed for using social media particularly Facebook as an anti-stereotyping tool. The response to an online survey, the outcome of opinion min-ing, and the enthusiastic response to our case study by the targeted audience validate our hypothesis that Facebook can be effectively utilized as an anti-stereotyping tool
